Power soccer is a competitive team sport created to be played by participants in power wheelchairs.  Participating in a power soccer league will allow you to build teamwork, have competition and have a great recreational pastime. Power soccer has been played all across the world since the 1970s.  The first American Champions Cup was played in 2009.  The game is played with an oversized 13 inch soccer ball that is pushed by a foot guard on your power chair.  All participants are required to use a power chair and the maximum speed is 6.2 mph. Players are also required to add on a seat belt and a foot guard to their chair. The game is played on a basketball court with two teams of four players.
