As spoken about in a previous post, Pediatric Compressor Nebulizers are often the preferred choice to deliver critical breathing medicine to infants and children. The nebulizers are designed to provide a source of compressed air which mixes with the nebulizer medicine to produce a fine mist, which is easily inhaled to help ease asthma symptoms. They are easier to use properly when compared to inhalers and with new features make them even more child friendly.
However, it may be daunting for a child to use a nebulizer at first, so we are proud to offer a wide variety of nebulizers in child friendly models! Some of the benefits of child specific nebulizers are:
1) They are light weight. Our pediatric nebulizers max out around 3.5 pounds.
2) They have safety features designed with children in mind.
3) The masks are designed to better fit children’s smaller facial features
4) The machines are shaped in child friendly designs. Some include cats, dogs, and other children’s characters
